Stuttering every few seconds on a Toshiba laptop with an nVidia GTX 950m running Windows 10. I fully understand that my graphics card is mediocre, but there are tens of other games with equally nice graphics that run at 50 FPS without any problems. I suspect the game is badly optimized and the suggested specifications are plain wrong. From the very little that I saw, the game looks very nice, I will try it again in the future, when I have a better graphics card. Ive only played for 40 minutes but a few times it gave me the chills and I havent seen any of the technical issues that some other people have seen. That's what it says on the storefront at least. I would call it more of a suspense walking simulator. It reminded me of Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and Doorways, still being a bit different than the former and better than the latter.As was said, this is a first person suspense walking simulator. There is only one instance when you have to actively avoid things more or less hunting you, several more points where you can die due to environmental hazards. Despite this the creepiness is here and a few moments, especially on the first and last levels, can raise that lingering dread feeling. Overall the game should take between 3 and 4 hours to finish.I liked:* the creepy atmosphere* the graphicsI disliked:* the mines (every mines in them horror games are the same and boring)* the bugs (the game crashed on me and/or malfunctioned a few times)* fragmented storyGet this if:* if you like creepy walking simulatorsDon't get this if:* you expect a scary game* you want to kill/outmaneuver scary monsters. It's not a bad game provided you got it on super sale, like I did. For less than $4, I killed a few hours, had a couple of pretty good scares, and didn't have to rage quit (did have to look up a speed guide though because a couple of sections either bugged out or I just couldn't find the magic numbers). As for the ending? It's kinda 'meh'. You get a 'Bladerunner'-esque voiceover that doesn't really answer anything (and it doesn't give you enough clues in-game, I don't think), and then it cuts to black...the most griegious of ending sins.All-n-all, a solid C+/B-. Superb atmosphere, level design, and audio. I never thought that it pulled any cheap punches, none of the scares were cheap or random. The scary moments were either well deserved or you knew it was coming but didn't know when. During my play, I really enjoyed both the ambient soundtrack and sound fx, but it was the silence that really surprised me. I haven't seen many games take advantage of not having any music playing, its just you and your footsteps and.....well, you'll find out. :)I recommend this. Well polished, great atmosphere. A bit short, but it wasn't that expensive of a game. I do have some technical issues that I think the developer could use to improve some instances of gameplay, but unless they contact me I won't waste anyone's time going through them here. I recommend this. You won't regret it.
